Job description

Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, we are a growing real estate fund focused on private lending to residential real estate developers and investors across the United States.

We are growing fast and are adding a team member to our loan coordination team. This role is integral to the success of the business unit and requires someone who is super detailed and can juggle various deadlines at the same time without dropping a ball. The ideal candidate would have experience or a high level of interest in the real estate lending. You will get to learn all about investing in and financing real estate transactions and become a master of the details involved.

Responsibilities:

Manage a loan pipeline of 25-50 loans on 1-4 unit residential rental properties per month

• Leverage your strong attention to detail to close loan transactions completely & accurately
• Become an expert in the loan program(s) and provide external and internal leads with loan terms within 24 hours of receipt.
• Communicate with sales, borrowers, management team and loan closing team to move the loan from accepted to closed and funded.
• Underwrite borrowers including reviewing applications, credit and background checks, collecting statements to verify liquidity and reviewing past experience.
• Underwrite property including ordering and reviewing appraisals, flood cert, rent verification, etc
• Answer ad-hoc questions from borrowers

Identify & mitigate risk throughout the underwriting and closing processes to help the company and its investors maximize performance and return on capital.

Provide "Aloha" service & support to borrowers and counter-parties.

Requirements:

• Organized and detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously --- We work fast & furious and that should be exciting, not stressful to you!
• People person that enjoys interacting with clients, colleagues and counter-parties --- You get to be involved with financing real estate project both big and small, and everything relies on great relationships!

Location: Boulder, CO
