The Actuarial Audit Manager develops and executes risk-based and value-add audit engagements to provide assurance over actuarial, financial risk management, and investment areas of the organization. The role operates in a matrixed environment and will be a part of our global Actuarial audit team.
What you will do
Lead teams to deliver independent assurance on the organization's governance, risk management, and control activities, and real-time audit findings and advice on projects and change initiatives within the organization
Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and use this knowledge on engagements
Supervise and/or conduct planning, testing, documentation, and preparing conclusions using risk-based professional judgment
Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, communicate summary analysis, and resolve issues
Review audit reports and deliverables to ensure they are clear and concise.
Collaborate with other auditors and project teams effectively
Other activities as assigned
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or math/statistics
ASA or FSA preferred
Minimum 5 years' progressive experience
What will set you apart
Working knowledge of NAIC Statutory reserving standards required
Experience managing a team would be an advantage (formally or informally)
Prior experience in a variety of actuarial roles (e.g. Pricing, Valuations, etc) would be an advantage, as would prior exposure to a variety of products (e.g. Insurance, Investment, etc) in the retirement industry
A drive for delivery and the ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities while ensuring key deliverables are met within defined timelines
Proven ability to build effective business relationships and work collaboratively with other functional areas
Evidence of clear and effective communications including delivering challenging messages and confidently interacting with all levels of management
Knowledge of agile and other project management methodologies
Coaches and develops others; leads by example encouraging professional growth; models ongoing self-development; builds trusting relationships and provides honest, positive, and constructive feedback

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
