Job Description

The Business Analyst has overall accountability for the construction (business requirements, system analysis, custom development requirements, configuration, and quality) of ReedGroup's leave administration application. The Business Analyst has technical knowledge and is responsible for creating high-level analysis, system configuration, technical documentation, and testing. The Business Analyst is also responsible for coordinating production reviews, achieving stability of all newly implemented projects into production, and completing the transition to operations for ongoing support.

You will

  • Review clients leave and disability policies, document client requirements, and translate needs into the Business Requirements Documents
  • Write clear and concise business requirements ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, comprehensible, feasible, unambiguous, traceable, and verifiable
  • Identify process gaps or risks and provide ReedGroup best practices, and data-driven solutions to the client
  • Lead the client through the ReedGroup claims system including workflows and system demonstrations
  • Discuss employee and employer communications and obtain redlines and client approval; implement and configure agreed upon versions
  • Review data integration specifications with clients and support client's needs in accordance with inbound and outbound file feed functionality
  • Leverage and enhance standard test matrix, conduct test scenarios, identify configuration gaps, resolve issues, and obtain client sign-off for user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Submit and track tickets for development items, client standups, and defect fix support
  • Maintain accurate and timely delivery commitments in Smartsheets and/or other project tracking tools approved by Management
  • Align custom configurations and development to the ReedGroup development release schedule.
  • Obtain client sign-off on all business requirements, including file feed validation and testing
  • Improve existing internal processes by studying current practices, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending efficient solutions
  • Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Attends department meetings and company meetings.
  • Maintains current knowledge of technology trends.
  • Other duties as required.
You have

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or3 plus years of equivalent work experience
  • Leave of Absence and Disability knowledge preferred
  • Enterprise systems (UltiPro, PeopleSoft, ADP, Workday, Smartsheets, Jira) knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Analytical and inquisitive problem solver
  • Very organized and have excellent follow-up skills; Capable of consistently delivering at a high level of accuracy
  • Strong time-management with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Takes on more complex, high-profile projects that require multiple integrated systems with new customer-specific requirements
  • Demonstrates an ability to proactively manage multiple stakeholders across several departments to agree upon and deploy solutions
  • Provides consultative direction regarding technology or process solutions to help internal and external stakeholders understand options to meet requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication and documentation
  • Open to receiving and providing coaching and guidance as needed
  • IIBA EBCA certification preferred

  • Remote - WFH Flexibility
  • Up to 10% travel within US
