Job description
The Associate Talent Acquisition Consultant partners with Talent Acquisition Consultants, Senior Talent Acquisition Consultants and hiring managers to source, screen, select and hire the right staff for the right positon at CT Children's, both internally and externally. This position will be responsible for creating talent pools by posting sourcing requisitions, using recruiting tools to proactively source candidates, and screen individuals who will be an appropriate fit for CT Children's. In collaboration with the talent acquisition team this position will manage the employee referral bonus program and temporary resource vendors.
This is a temporary, full time position expected to last approximately 6 months. The position will be based in our Hartford HR office (remote work is possible).
* Screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers to both exempt and non-exempt positons.
* Partners with Talent Acquisition Consultants to determine staffing needs and facilitate "staffing agreements".
* Develop advertising program in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
* Proactively develops talent pipeline. Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract candidates.
* Interviews and collaborates with hiring managers on 'fit' feedback to support effective hiring decisions.
* Facilitates and implements the hiring process using established policies and practices as a framework for selection and hiring.
* Manage internal transfer process.
* Utilize employment agencies when needed
* Awareness of the various technology available to support the organization's TA program.
* Works to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
High School Diploma, GED, or a higher level of education that would require the completion of high school, is required.
Preferred:
Bachelor's or higher level degree in relevant field
SHRM Certification [PHR, SPHR]
Certification in Talent Acquisition
Healthcare industry Talent Acquisition experience
