Summary/Objective:

This position supports multi-site locations of Rogers business units in Northeast Connecticut. The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a wide range of Human Resources functions, working closely with Human Resources management. This includes division business partner support, employee and labor relations, staffing, performance management, policy administration, and various generalist functions including onboarding, workers compensation, benefits, and training administration.

Essential Functions:

  1. HR business partnership; partnering with management team to support business growth. Coaching on talent management, development, performance, and retention.
  2. Responsible for staffing, including job definition, recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding.
  3. Provides day-to-day employee and labor relations, maintaining positive relationships and fostering open communication. Supports communication activities, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
  4. Administers human resources policies & procedures; responsible for leave management, including FMLA, disability, and workers compensation.
  5. Responsible for multi-site level training administration to support ISO certification standards. Assists in the planning, development and implementation of training which supports employee development.
  6. Completes human resources projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS in Business, HR or related degree plus 5 years professional HR experience.
  • Comprehensive Generalist experience.
  • Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Capable of advancing into HR positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Ability to maintain a strict standard of confidentiality in handling Company sensitive information, reports, and correspondence.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MBA or Master's Degree.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
