RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Investment Analyst in Newark, DE. Key Tasks:

• Investment Analyst will be responsible for providing research to and related support to Investment Bankers and/or Traders
• Must be able to take ownership of initiatives and drive them to completion with little or no guidance
• Provide regular updates on projects and metrics to Senior Management
• Daily price capture & validation of all investment types
• As an Investment Analyst, you will produce and analyze valuation movements within client portfolios on a daily basis
• Review of price confirmation collection within department
• Analyze price movements against market expectations
• Complete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required accurately and to deadline
• Resolve client queries

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent work experience
• 1 to 3 years asset Pricing or NAV/Fund accounting experience
• Financial industry experience
• Ability to trouble shoot exceptions/issues quickly to avoid market exposure
• Ability to work in deadline oriented and controlled environment
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing business and technology needs
• Ability to use creative thinking to identify solutions for complex processes and/or issues
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work in a team
• Understand the effect that changes in prices and other data elements have on the market value of an account and be sensitive to these changes
• Knowledge of financial instruments and desire to learn new instruments and financial techniques
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of Bloomberg terminals and products
