Job description
Our client is a promising Defense Industry venture.
The Chief Executive Officer will be communicating, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public; Leading the development of the company's short- and long-term strategy; Creating and implementing the company or organization's vision and mission; Evaluating the work of other executive leaders within the company, including directors, vice presidents, and presidents; Ensure NASDAQ/SEC compliance; Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.; Ensuring that the company maintains high social responsibility; Assessing risks to the company and ensuring they are monitored and minimized; Setting strategic goals and making sure they are measurable and describable
What You Will Do:
•Participate with the Board in developing a future strategy and business plan which incorporates the goals and objectives that will create opportunities for business development
•Recruit and develop a team to achieve business objectives with intent to grow the business
•Insure corporate development by Mergers, acquisitions, and Integration and whenever required proceed with divesture.
•Investors' relation
•Manage public offerings.
•Manage complex conglomerate environment and achieve targeted synergies with subsidiaries.
•Manage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel as required
•Establish good working relationships with the stakeholders, including US and foreign governments, in order to help achieve the goals of the corporation
•Monitor technology developments in the industry to seize opportunities
•Closely monitor intelligence about competition and communicate with the Board of Directors on internal/external issues that affect the Corporation
•Develop and implement marketing programs and budgets
•Develop and clearly articulate compelling business cases for new asset investments, products, and business/sales models
•Advise the Board of Directors for all material changes in the operations.
•Collaborate on strategic business decisions; develop and recommend independent and balanced business options as a contributing member of the executive team.
•Evaluate the success of current strategies and provide and implement recommendations for improvement.
Who You Are:
Given the challenging corporate governance guidelines, related stock exchange regulations, and scope of the development strategy of the organization, this role demands experienced capability in a publicly traded environment to deliver excellence for the shareholders.
•BS in Engineering, MBA a plus, CFA a plus
•Experience in the Defense industry is required
•Experience in Tech, heavy industry, governmental Contractor/Service a plus
•Multinational experience a must
•Minimum of 15+ years of leadership experience building and overseeing teams.
•Experience working in a publicly traded company
•Strong knowledge and understanding of US SEC matters, regulatory parameters and rules within NASDAQ and related regulatory environment.
•Successful track record of CEO roles.
•Successful track record of M&A and integration.
•Top Secret classification will be required.
•Financial acumen.
•Exceptional track record in partnering with business teams to drive results in a demanding, fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
•Board and investor relations experience.
•Strong communication skills and experience with presentations to the Board and investors.
•Experience scaling up a business and meeting quarterly and annual targets.
•Experience implementing and employing best practices.
•Bilingual a plus (any other language than English)
