Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist with monitoring customer needs and intended uses of requested data in the development of database requirements and assist in the planning and engineering of enterprise databases.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Data - Data Engineering - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring customer needs and intended uses of requested data in the development of database requirements and assist in the planning and engineering of enterprise databases.
  • Attend training for database technologies, complex coding languages, and computer system skills.
  • Integrate data into readily available formats while maintaining existing structures and govern their use according to business requirements.
  • Assist with incorporating new data sources and monitor the performance, scalability, and security of data.
  • Support the team in creating an initial analysis and deliver the user interface (UI) to the customer to enable further analysis.
Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences
  • 0-3 years of experience
Desired Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Skills
  • Strong technical skills to analyze production incidents and recommend remediation.
  • Excellent customer skills to make sure production responsibilities are shared and executed.
  • Experience in design and deployment of Enterprise Data Lake projects.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
  • Strong understanding of Financial data and architecture.
  • Ability to work on a fast-paced environment that include 24/7 on-call duty.
Tools
  • Skilled in Oracle PL SQL and Spark SQL
  • Skilled in Python
  • Skilled in AWS Compute such as EC2, Lambda, Beanstalk, or ECS
  • Skilled in MySQL Workbench, Toad, DBeaver
  • Skilled in AWS Management and Governance suite of products such as CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or Systems Manager
  • Skilled in AWS Database products such as RDS, Redshift, or Aurora
  • Skilled in Unix & Informatica
  • Skilled in using UNIX
  • Skilled in JSON
  • Skilled in Jenkins, JIRA, Oracle & Netezza DB
  • Skilled in AWS Analytics such as EMR or Glue
  • Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platform
