Job description

Any candidate for this role must demonstrate expertise in digital engineering functions across multiple PLM technologies as well as any corresponding enabling IT technology aspects across the PLM , CAD, &ALM space. This senior practice role would manage multiple responsibilities including being a deal strategist, solution architect , customer facing pre-sales consulting, solution offering development, statement of work development, estimation development, strategic consulting delivery for assessments and internal cross-skilling enablement. The candidate should have managed most of these roles in their prior work experience in one or more PLM vendor technologies in order to be eligible for this role.

The Senior PLM Principal Architect will report to the global PLM Practice Head and will be responsible for driving PLM business and growth across Birlasoft vertical and geo accounts as well as the North America Net New target accounts.

Key role dimensions would include building and growing our PLM & ALM practices as per target and future market focus, meet revenue targets, and establish leading consulting offerings/solutions in the various micro-verticals focused on within Birlasoft.
Key Accountabilities:
Align with our PLM 's hyper growth go to market strategy and our overall business strategy.
Demonstrate thought leadership to help grow the practice and drive customer solutions as a leading global PLM consulting services provider globally.
Actively support sales opportunities by leveraging thought leadership, solutions, offerings and consulting services. Leverage those and translate them into a strong value proposition for our prospects and clients in order to successfully win the deals. Lead the development of proactive proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, estimates, and sales presentations for our PLM and ALM sales opportunities.
Must align and coordinate extremely well with our various Vertical Business Units, ISV sales leaders, global account managers, and our internal delivery SME's to drive pipeline growth and top line revenue growth.
Build the overall competency to address specific gaps as per market needs, future market focus and help define competency development plans with delivery leaders.
Achieve agreed upon practice metrics (KPI's) to achieve service line, unit, and company target goals.
Demonstrate consulting leadership and thought leadership across various PLM and/or ALM technologies and products that complement Birlasoft solutions.
Provide expertise within the context of each customer engagement and convert key re-usable use cases into templatized and/or productized offerings.
Co-ordinate and leverage relationships with leading ISV technology OEM's to assimilate product expertise, drive alignment, drive demand and help build thought leadership with our partners. Leading consulting led pursuits to deliver assessments and Proof of Concepts (POC); such as PLM maturity assessments, PLM roadmap development, PLM tool selection and any other key up front billable consulting engagements.
Achieve a balance between meeting client obligations, supporting their needs, and acting as an ambassador for the company.
Help drive new sustainable business from ongoing clients and help win net new clients.
Contributes with specific MFG and/or Life Science industry expertise which enables them to understand our client business and needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience Requirements:

· Overall experience of 10 years with relevant experience in either Oracle Cloud PLM , PTC Windchill, and/or Siemens Teamcenter PLM .
· Must have demonstrated experience of a minimum 4 years in a PLM pre-sales practice consulting role and senior lead solution architect role.
· PLM engagement management experience and ALM experience is a plus.
· Strong experience in PLM pre-sales and consultative sales activities with proven results.
Large deal experience as leading pre-sales PLM practice roles for prior organizations.
· Experience in business process improvement consulting in digital engineering.
o Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering is a plus but not requirement.
· Knowledge in various aspects of Agile Methodology and DevOps for use in IT consulting service delivery programs
· Proven experience working well with large global teams and collaborating with different disciplines and diverse backgrounds
· Business driven, value centric approach to PLM sales.
· Ability to Analyze significant business problems and design successful solutions.
· Job will involve travelling and candidate should be willing to travel within at short notice.
