Position Summary:


The HR Coordinator participates in the full recruitment lifecycle of hiring and interviewing of staff, administering pay, benefits and leave as well as employee relations, counseling and discontinuance of employment. Adheres to employment and labor laws as well as the enforcement of HR / company established policies and practices. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer as well as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CareersUSA.


Job Description:


  • Perform full lifecycle recruiting functions of hiring staff for corporate positions; proactive searches, interview to hire
  • Drafting job descriptions
  • Onboarding of all new hires
  • Administering pay, benefits, leave and separation of employment while enforcing HR company policies and practices; and adhering to employment and labor law
  • Assist internal employees with all HR related questions or concerns;
  • Managing Employee Handbook and other administrative materials
  • Monitor time and attendance and other reporting
  • Handle all unemployment and worker's compensation matters full cycle.
  • Handle background checks and all other onboarding and compliance work, such as drug testing and insure legal compliance.
  • Verifications and check references for employment
  • • File and create reports monthly or as needed


Job Requirements:

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Management experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize tasks as well as multi-task
  • Knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Internet research and data entry skills
  • Proficiency and ability to learn and utilize HRIS internal systems
