Are you ready to join a growing team that puts a premium on productivity and has an award-winning culture, centered around transforming talented employees into effective business leaders?
Then Bankers Healthcare Group is the place for you. We offer innovative financial solutions to licensed and highly-skilled professionals, representing the best of both traditional lending and fintech, and are looking for passionate, impact players to help take our company to the next level.
At BHG, you'll become immersed in the finance industry-with a variety of loan solutions, credit cards, patient financing, bank programs, and collections services, which have helped BHG become one of the leading providers of finance solutions.
With over 20 years in business, we have the stability of an established company with the speed and agility of a startup, where ingenuity and risk-taking are encouraged, and every employee has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
Who You Are
You have a deep background in financial services, and have built your career curating, developing, and publishing editorial and long-form finance content. Your investigative mindset means you're constantly looking for a new story to tell, and you take pride in your ability to build credibility and brand awareness for innovative companies in the bank and fintech space. You navigate financial discussions with ease, and are looking for a role where you can help bring a brand to life, position executives as credible industry experts, and drive greater awareness and adoption across a suite of solutions.
What You'll Do
* Produce a wide variety of long-form content pieces, including financial memos, byline articles, blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers, speaker abstracts, and more
* Collaborate with a team of copywriters and product marketers to execute an integrated editorial calendar that spans all marketing, advertising, and media relations channels
* Conduct industry research to build relevant, timely thought leadership pieces for BHG executives
* Engage directly with BHG's leadership team, including ongoing interviews and discussions to identify new topics and publish content on a consistent basis
* Utilize search engine optimization (SEO) strategies while writing to maximize BHG's visibility in search results
* Proofread and edit long-form content before it's published on BHG's platforms or in publications
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, finance, or related field
* 7+ years in copywriting and content creation, including editorial, cross-channel marketing campaigns, and branding
* Extensive experience writing for financial services, with a published portfolio of writing samples
* Strong project management skills to manage multiple content deadlines across BHG's suite of banking solutions
* Excellent verbal and communication skills
* A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly
