Job description

Client in Sunrise, FL is looking to hire a Junior - Moderate Business Analyst to their team on a permanent basis. The client is looking to hire a professional that is proficient in the following:

• Meet with stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Organize and lead proof of concepts to validate product plans and confirm requirements.
• Observe business processes in action to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Practice agile methodology
• Update product backlog to ensure its complete, prioritized, and items are groomed for
• Define and plan product releases.
• Facilitate discussions between stakeholders, SMEs, and the delivery team.
• Collaborate daily with the delivery team to define, plan and execute work.
• Track and report accomplishments, progress, and remaining work.
• Escalate product issues and risks to leadership.
• Co-facilitate business stakeholder acceptance testing.
• Provide day-to-day next-level assistance for solutions within the domain of the role.
• Create and update end-user documentation.
• Provide hands-on training to end-users.
• Strong analytical skills capable of evaluating and foreseeing implications of current and alternative paths.
• Experience preparing many of the following documents: Scope Documents, Business Process Diagram, Context Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagrams, User Stories, Acceptance Tests, Functional Specification, Process Flow Diagrams, Gap Analysis, Product Roadmaps
• Experience writing SQL queries is a plus
• Strong Excel skills capable of building models, analyzing data, and producing reports
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
