Machine Shop Helper

- Will be working with the printing rubber blankets they make for the machines.

- Distributes these sheets of rubber with every machine they send out.

The Machine shop helper will be cutting these sheets into strips-specific size depending order (using measuring tools) using a milling machine. From there those strips are taken to a grinder where the helper will grind down all edges. This position is very busy, they will be up and moving the whole time. Sometimes they use sharp tools to cut things.

Need someone to fill our position in the rubber mill department cutting & grinding rubber blankets to print specifications.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

1+ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ry level position for someone with some CNC experience and ability to read calipers and micrometers. Also, looking for someone that has some grinding or milling experience. Will be reading a tape measure.

Must have 2-3 years of experience (this is required, we are not looking for a trainee)

Must have (2-3 years) verifiable working knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment

Must have experience with Calipers, scales, thickness gages, and a durometer.

Must have Blueprint reading skills

Must have an understanding of machine shop practices and standards

Must have good attention to detail

Must have good attendance and punctuality
