**Job Title: Laboratory Technician**

Job Type: Full Time

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a **Laboratory Technician** for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Jacksonville, FL.

**Benefits and Compensation:**

**Summary:**

+ This position requires the individual to perform analytical testing of plastics and contact lenses in accordance with good documentation practices GDPs and GxP requirements.

+ The individual must be comfortable working with a variety of laboratory equipment and interfacing with key project leads.

+ For the Plastics Lab, routine testing is expected utilizing instrumentation such as VFA, ASIS, Smartscope and Heidenheim.

+ Daily activities for the Parameters lab include visual inspections, routine lens measurements equipment including Clover, Panametric, Protea and GRI , lens cross section analysis, and other testing tasks assigned to the team. The individual must adhere to EHS S policy, procedures, and supports department EHS S objectives.

**Qualifications:**

+ BS degree preferred - HS diploma required

+ Prefer 2+ years laboratory experience, GxP environment.

+ Experience with analytical equipment such as balances, interferometers and microscopes recommended.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Excellent organizational skills required.
