Job description

We are currently hiring a Human Resource Assistant to work as a COVID Compliance Manager who will be responsible for coordination and management of all COVID Health and Safety Protocols for the company. The incumbent is a member of the Artistic and Production departments and works closely with the Human Resources Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • In consultation with the COVID Task Force, manage all aspects of COVID-related policies, testing cycle, contact tracing, and internal communications.
    • Schedule and manage the on-site testing cycle.
    • Track and maintain testing results for the company including its dancers, production and artistic staff, orchestra members and any other casts included in our productions.
    • Conduct contact tracing within the MCB community.
    • Function as a resource for day-to-day COVID safety judgments and compliance questions.
    • Communicate to staff about COVID-related safe practices and protocols, testing schedules, and act as a companywide resource for COVID-19 safety information.
    • Liaise with company medical providers.
    • Coordinate company COVID protocols with our various venues updating them of any changes when need be and making sure protocols are followed. MCB performs in four different venues throughout Florida and has tours planned in New York City and Washington, DC this season.
    • Remain current on best practices related to COVID prevention and management in the live-performing industry.
    • Follows HIPAA requirements; maintains strict confidentiality regarding personal and medical information.
    • Is an active member of the COVID Task Force.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    • Live performance management background preferred.
    • COVID Compliance Officer Certification or willingness to go through the training.
    • Experience in data gathering and specifically data analytics for tracking and monitoring case reports preferred.
    • Must have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and able to clearly communicate with culturally diverse community members and with sensitivity to the challenging circumstances they may be experiencing.
    • Must be able to handle crisis situations with diplomacy.
