Specification of Core Function

Design, implement, and maintain custom applications tailored to the needs of the company and its affiliates.

Facilitate the growth strategies of the company and its affiliates, help promote new initiatives that ultimately contribute to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and increase automation.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Participate in the decision-making process by providing carefully researched solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

· Act as regional business analyst and technical lead, drive project efforts estimation, work to identify and mitigate risks.

· Identify general requirements from stakeholders; translate business analytics into high performing, enterprise level solutions.

· Evaluate and identify approaches to improve and/or streamline existing inefficient manual processes; identify software related issues in order to devise more efficient software solutions

· Research emerging technological trends to propose solutions and advise regional institution departments.

· Analyze large volumes of data to produce a visual cohesive interpretation of such data to facilitate the decision-making process.

· Develop working relationship with various staff members to further improve collaboration across teams facilitating the development of projects

· Apply software design principles, code design standards, and key methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, and Lean.

· Drive increased efficiency across departments, eliminating duplications, leveraging product / technology reuse, and best practices.

· Facilitate project organization across the region, train staff on newly developed solutions, and schedule software deliverables.

· Participate in audit processes by gathering and providing data as needed or assisting by clarifying existing processes.

· Collaborate on new company initiatives and strategies to ensure the adequate technologies and tools are being properly utilized.

· Maintain, Enhance, and Support regional custom applications through constant evaluation to determine improvements from newly created requirements.

· Provide 3rd Level support as needed as required.

Requirements

· 10+ years OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithm analysis, Design Patterns.

· 10+ years of experience in Windows related technologies such as Web Forms, Windows Forms, WPF, WCF, WWF.

· Strong expertise C#, Visual Studio.

· Expertise writing high performing code according to modern industry standards.

· Expertise developing Multithreaded and asynchronous applications and windows services.

· Strong verbal & written communication.

· Expertise designing Relational Databases and Data Mining.

· Expertise in Relational Database development using T-SQL, Stored Procedures, functions, SQL-CLR.

· Expertise in SQL Business Intelligence Tools such as SSRS, SSIS.

· Knowledge of Database security and administration.

· Expertise with test driven methodologies: such as Test-Driven-Design and Behaviour-Driven-Design, and Automated Testing Frameworks.

· Strong expertise in Web Technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and ES6, Chrome Developer Tools, Web Debugging.

· Strong expertise in Web Frameworks such as Angular JS, Angular 6+, MVC, ASP.NET, Telerik Kendo UI.

· Strong expertise designing RESTful APIs.

· Experience in leveraging Scrum / Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

· Experience in all aspects of development cycle leveraging CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Git.
