Technical Project Manager with development Background (Banking Domain)

- Solutions-oriented Information Technology leader having a more than 15 years of leadership experience developing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions. Facilitator and builder of world-class technology management and product development teams. Building fruitful partnerships with clients, positioning projects for success, and delivering on time results within budget.
- Data Migration, Process Improvement, and Cost Reduction: Migration legacy batch-based system to the new REST API-based real-time system solutions. Overall costs savings from systems/process improvement, automation, and implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage client stakeholders globally; Provide status of critical deliverables daily, roadblocks, and next action plan to the global team. Responsible to execute MBR (Monthly Business review) and QBR (Quarterly Business Review) sessions.
- Collaboration: Build and lead global teams (end-users, vendors, and IT resources) designed to deliver critical business solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
- IT Delivery: Experience in managing project delivery for clients in a multi-vendor environment and skilled in managing remote project resources.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree and Risk management, AML or Compliance job experience.
- 10+ years of broad and comprehensive Technical Project Management experience.
- Highly intellectual in character requiring exercise of discretion and judgment related to proposed changes to the Business.
- Position requires a global mindset.
- Must be able to negotiate changes to proposals made by senior people of global, regional and country teams.
- The person should be able to influence senior cross functional teams that do not report to them.
- Must be able to Lead and execute under pressure, many of the projects will have very tight timelines.
- Has to be able to lead global projects that require very detailed analysis due to the impact to the businesses, including the ability to lead initiatives with cross functional teams across the world.
- Development Methodologies: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Waterfall Model, Agile Methodologies, Iterative.
Technology expertise required:
- Expert knowledge of Java based distributed technology platforms and relational databases is a must.
- Expert knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, Excel, and business analysis tools.
- Experience in enterprise-wide technology development, integration and deployments and excellent communications, strategy and problem management skills.
