MATERIAL HANDLER, 2nd Shift
2pm to 10pm (appx), shift ends when orders are completed, as late as necessary.
Pay: $15.00 per hour

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Material Handler is responsible for processing and recording inventory, stock, and storage of materials to fulfill customer orders.
This role requires consistent heavy lifting (often 2 people will be required to lift together) of various sizes of metal - you will be moving materials to staging location as well as assisting with loading trucks.
You will be responsible for reviewing customer order tickets and selecting the right materials by using a pre-set system designed for easy retrieval of parts.
Familiarity of order-selecting computer systems and hand held scanners is necessary, as you will be responsible for documenting your order progress.
Must be able to read and understand English-written maintenance, policy, and safety manuals and have the ability to write general correspondence.
This is a large machinery warehouse and requires employees that can withstand a sometimes hot and noisy environment. Applicants should have worked in this style of facility in the past.
Overtime is necessary, we fulfill customer orders for next day delivery so you must be able to stay until all orders are completed for your shift.
Personal Protection - You must own steel toe boots for work. Company offers metatarsal guards, hard hats, gloves, sleeves, eye and ear protection.
