In this Accounting Manager role, you can expect to be involved in monthly financial statement preparation, detailed GL analysis and reconciliations, cash flow reporting, operating budget development, and annual audit support. We are looking for someone who has proven knowledge in MIP Abila, non-profit industry experience and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibilities

· Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules)

· Prepare monthly interim financial reports and variance analysis for management reporting

· Work with the Board and CFO to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests.

· Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

· Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

· Oversee Payroll, AP and Billings

· Participate in the development of agency and program budgets

· Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Required Qualifications

· BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA credentials are preferred

· Minimum 5 years of overall general accounting experience

· MIP Abila system knowledge

· Advanced Excel skills required

· Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
