Job description
Summary: Responsible for documenting and supporting communications between stakeholders, and capturing requirements needed to initiate a change. Helps identify business requirements and various technological solutions and engages in IT projects, from development to testing. Troubleshoots, configures and codes system(s) to meet the business requirement. Complies with company policies, protocols and guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Interacts with Technical and Business stakeholders to perform analysis of business requirements
Configures information system(s) to automate business processes and workflows
Troubleshoots/debugs system(s)
Performs quality audits on systems & data structures related to policy and strategy changes
Maintains expert knowledge of one or more information systems as well as in depth business functional knowledge
Works with the project team ensuring that tasks/projects are completed within established timelines.
Works with end-users on completing and trouble shooting system problems, enhancements and testing
Follows change control protocols
Seeks out ways to make constant and continuing improvement to current processes
Performs various system programming ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal rules, guidelines, and regulations.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Education and/or Experience Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or other quantitative fields, plus three or four years of experience in credit risk management, statistical or data analytics, or MIS.
OR Masters degree in above fields with one or two years of industry experience in credit risk management, statistical or data analytics, or MIS.
Language Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong communication skills with the ability to break down and explain complex analytic issues, present findings, and make recommendations to various levels of management.
Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to derive conclusions and make recommendations beyond the scope of written policies or standard guidelines.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate/expert level experience using MS Excel, MS-Access, MS Query, SQL queries, XML, Soap Interfaces, Visio and JAVA or similar process mapping software. Must have a basic understanding of interface techniques.
Other Skills: Familiar with application programming concepts/best practices and experience in programming in a language that utilizes advanced Excel like functions. Solid understanding of writing formulas and rules as well as documenting workflow and business processes.
