The Challenge
OneTrust is looking for an experienced, dynamic, organized and metric-driven events marketer to plan and execute a wide range of virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, including our OneTrust user conference, TrustWeek. As an Event Marketing Specialist at OneTrust, you have an obsession for organization and a knack for juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. You are responsible for executing end-to-end project management for various elements of TrustWeek and other customer events.
Your Mission
- Oversee the end-to-end project management of various elements of OneTrust's user conference, TrustWeek keeping the overall strategy and goals of the conference in mind.
- Oversee scheduling, room allocation, hotel block management, conference registration via online system arrangement with payment, discounts, registration reporting.
- Support with event logistics including but not limited to project trackers, budgets, internal and external communications, venue sourcing, shipments, printing, vendor sourcing and management, sponsor management, and travel booking
- Other duties may include food and beverage management, staffing and transportation
- Build appropriate plans for event revenue, costs, sponsorship, and vendor execution to meet specified targets and financial objectives.
- Support physical event execution onsite through event setup, vendor liaison, team management, aiding lead generation and breakdown
- Provide virtual and hybrid event support for various virtual event platforms
- Assist with promotional items for larger events including advertisements, email marketing, social media, and light copywriting as needed
- Support post-event reporting including lead submission, event metrics and reporting, measuring event effectiveness through SFDC reporting, evaluating event ROI, and present on recommendations for improvement
- Proactively planning and executing event deliverables seamlessly
- Managing day-to-day, weekly, and monthly tasks successfully
- Independent and team working abilities
- An excellent communicator; both written and oral communications
- Direct hands-on end-to-end experience with pre- and post-event planning
- Able to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently
- Strong negotiation skills, experience managing external vendors and budgets
- You are highly analytical and organized-from planning and setting deadlines, through to execution and lessons learned.
- Exemplary communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
- Passion for working in a lean, fast-paced organization, and desire to own and refine processes
- An energetic and can-do attitude with ability to rally teams around an initiative
- You are passionate about all things events, you enjoy what you do, and that enjoyment spreads to those you work with.
- Willingness to travel and work weekends, holidays and nonstandard hours, up to 25%
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in events marketing, in-person, hybrid, and virtual events.
- Prior experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or IT-specific software a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or other related fields.
- Experience working in event platforms such as CVENT, ON24, Zoom or similar tools
- Experience working in project management tools such as Monday.com
