Overview
The HR Director will oversee the HR and recruiting operation in zone or business unit and ensure effective delivery of recruiting, engagement and talent management practices and strategy by tracking results and measuring KPIs.
Responsibilities
The Director, Human Resources will work effectively across various business groups to ensure alignment between the business and functional objectives. - He/She will key in on ensuring an effective performance management process, talent management strategy , succession planning, compensation is in place and being implemented throughout the organization. - Partner with senior leadership in achieving organizational goals and building organizational capability within the core functional areas. - Analyze and present core HR results and recommend best practices at operational review meetings to senior leaders across the region. - Manage employee relations and compliance activities throughout the business unit to provide risk mitigation strategies. - It is critical that the Director completely understand the business and have experience supporting a national business within a global organization. - The Director, Human Resources will have dotted line management responsibility over various offices/staff and HR programs.
Qualifications
* - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related discipline is required. - He/She will ideally have a minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resource Management, preferably within a large corporate environment. - Knowledge of industry/HR best practice - Background in Human Resource Administration and legal guidelines required - Demonstrated ability to lead assigned projects to completion - He/She must be able to roll up the sleeves while being a strategic and visionary thinker. - He/She will have excellent executive leadership presentation skills, facilitating and training skills, with a focus on "attention to details". - The ideal candidate will reflect traits that include assertiveness, inspiration, strong perception, insightfulness and creativity. - The successful candidate will have unquestionable business and personal integrity, discretion and judgment. -
