Job description

We are looking for an Application Manager! This role is responsible for performing senior level business systems analysis and project management activities which include planning, designing, implementing and maintaining business applications and systems upgrades. The role requires a strong background in financial applications and IT business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular communication and tracks and reports progress with leadership for various departments.
• Support and manage client's business applications. This includes, but is not limited to, design, testing, implementation, documentation, user training/support and maintenance of new and existing applications.
• Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
• Assesses user needs to provide support and proactive service, including analysis of opportunities in order to take advantage of available tools
• Acts as a focal point for communicating related system problems within the departments and collaborates with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates
• Manages the release process for applications which includes effective department wide and end user communication
• Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements across the agencies and/or departments
• Manages delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets raised by the end users for assigned applications
• Develops relevant metrics, measures and publishes the performance of the services provided and enables continuous improvement activities in collaboration with peer groups
• Works closely with the business in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing specific information technologies that support the business plans and IT strategies
• Ensure department adheres to policies and procedures that are compliant with industry and regulatory policies. Perform, monitor and report for audit, user permissions for applications.
• Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts future trends in the area of application integration in the real estate industry
• Maintains a strong understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives
• Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications, including 24/7 on call coverage as required
• Perform detailed end-to-end business process analysis and document core system processes and related applications
• Responsible for vendor management

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 8 Years experience
• Five or more years' experience in business systems analysis, application development, application management or project management in the financial industry in an investment or banking environment
• Strong knowledge Everest, Wall Street Office, Dynamics, and Blackline or other business applications in the financial industry
• Experience working with technology related to Middle Market Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loans
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management Methodology (PMM) fundamentals and business process analysis
• Experience in SQL and a variety of data integration technologies - ETL, XML, SOAP, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of goals and the interdependencies of functional departments and groups and the ability to lead large-scale complex IT projects in addressing overall business needs
• Knowledge of informational technology disciplines; e.g., software applications and interfaces, production operations, quality assurance and systems management, etc.
• Knowledge of project management process and systems, ITIL/ITSM
