Job description
Euromonitor International is looking for a highly self-motivated and intellectual sales professional with a proven historical track record in sales. Experience working with public sector clients, is preferred though not required. Desired characteristics include the curiosity, tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand the client's issues, and match for the benefits in your solution. This position will be responsible for the retention and growth of Euromonitors Government Account clients as well as expanding the client base of public sector related organizations, which includes associations, government agencies, and trade groups. Applicants must be experienced engaging in proactive outreach targeted at expanding the user base, responding to inbound queries, providing training, as well as identifying new opportunities with outside organizations through consultative discovery and pitching syndicated and custom solutions as needed. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally, in different locations, and externally, across multiple departments of the target organization. This role is office-based in Chicago with travel as required to meet clients across your market once public health standards allow.
Requirements
* Generate sales with new and existing government organizations across the assigned North American territory
* Develop strong client relationships: identify key sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers to ensure they understand the benefits and applications of using Euromonitor's data systems and Consultative services.
* Provide research support and trainings of Passport Data systems to clients as required
* Evaluate and promote Passport usage within the client organization
* Work with Euromonitors cross functional teams to elevate syndicated and custom offerings to the Government space
* Manage contract renewal and upsell negotiations
* Identify and act on opportunities for revenue growth using consultative selling techniques
* Identify new syndicated and consulting revenue opportunities through growth of the base subscription and a better understanding of client organization, strategy, and priorities
* Ability to generate and manage quality sales opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline consistently above the required annual target
