This is an initial 6-month contract with likely extensions up to 2 years. Summary
The Business Process Analyst will drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data. They will also serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
What You Will Be Accountable For
- Understand the current business processes and define future state
- Work closely with product owners and agents to plan, gather and document requirements and acceptance criteria
- Ensure business requirements, user stories and UX designs are complete for development
- Collaborate with Build team members to break down large Features into small user stories that can be implemented by a Build Team
- Engage SMEs/Agents and UX designers on business requirements/user stories to ensure alignment
- Help review the technology test cases for accuracy and completeness
- Define and document the real-business use cases for the features & workflow with cross functional teams
- Facilitate the testing of the real-business use cases for the features with cross functional teams
- Prioritize backlog items that include Epics, Features, Stories and Defects
- Proactively identify and manage the interdependencies (features/designs/defects) and risks
- Scope the enterprise project deliverables, prioritize the enterprise project features. Align the scope and priority with leadership
- Communicate the enterprise scope and feature priority with product owners to ensure clarity and understanding
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements. Complete deliverables on-time, with quality and value. Reduce change requests
- Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance
- Manage competing resources and priorities
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users
What Qualifications You Need
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Advanced technical skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects
