The Capgemini Invent North American Automotive industry team is growing! We are looking to augment our team with an individual to support both our strategic growth plans and sustain the excellence we are known for in delivering bespoke solutions to our clients.

The Engagement Manager plays a key role in growing our North America industry footprint. This individual will exercise a keen ability to land and expand our current account(s) footprint, shape our go-to-market strategy, explore engagements at new accounts, and contribute and oversee ongoing project delivery. They will serve as the ongoing relationship at accounts and the tip of the spear for new services and offerings to be engaged.

Who You Are

A person with a passion for building client relationships. You bring in-depth experience in consulting and transformation (digital, customer, enterprise). You drive value through connecting and framing of internal assets to client and market opportunities. The ideal candidate has spent time as a leader of change and a high-value consulting partner for organizations driving such value and change. Furthermore, you have hands-on experience in shaping go-to-market strategies and can demonstrate a client and customer-first approach to building creative solutions. Ideally, you have automotive or related industry experience. Mostly, you are a builder of relationships. You have a proven track record and capability of being viewed by clients and partners as a trusted advisor.

You have experience and proven demonstration at engaging with senior clients and managing significant programs. You're an innovator and a delivery leader. As such, you will contribute to the growth of our practice by shaping client and go-to-market approaches, mentoring junior consultants, generating thought content and increasing the depth of our expertise in the automotive industry.

Specifically, you will bring…

● Proven and demonstrable skills in developing:

○ Sales pipeline, client value and satisfaction

○ Go to market strategies

○ Internal relationship building and solution framing

○ Relevant industry perspectives / PoVs

○ Compelling opportunity responses (RFIs / RFPs)

○ Strategic and tactical account planning and execution

○ Senior-level relationships

○ Operational and administrative management of account and pipeline details

● Tangible consulting leadership and delivery experience in areas including:

○ Client sales and account management

○ Customer Experience

○ Data Strategy & Analytics

○ Digital Strategy & Transformation

○ Connected Products & Services

○ Enterprise Architecture

○ Automotive consumer & product lifecycle including retail operations

● Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred

● 8-10+ years of consulting experience or other relevant work experience

● Ability to deliver high-quality content in internal tools (Microsoft office) as well as mastery of collaboration / facilitation tools

● Excellent written and verbal communication

● Lead teams and resources to develop needed materials and deliver projects

● Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion to understand and solve problems

● Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills within a team environment

● An ability to manage teams to create and deliver innovative solutions, navigating large and complex organizations and collaborating cross-functionally internally

What You Will Do

Sales & Client Service, Go-to-Market Strategy (50%)

You lead key client relationships in an ongoing manner, including future sales and business development. You will help define our business objectives and go to market strategy. You will work to identify and structure current and future account targets and planning. You will work with our delivery organizations and capability units to shape solutions and corresponding scopes forward.

Delivery (50%)

You will contribute to the delivery of Capgemini NA Invent Automotive engagements with major client(s), leading client-facing, high-value consulting engagements. In doing so, you will forge lasting client relationships, enable further client successes and help Capgemini serve our clients to the fullest.
