Job description

A commercial architecture firm located in Chicago, Illinois is seeking an Office Manager to join their team. The Office Manager will not only oversee the operations and administrative needs of the Chicago office, but will simultaneously coordinate between their two additional offices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly communicative, organized, and has a strong ability to multi-task. The salary range for this role is $55-60k.

Responsibilities of the Office Manager:

  • Greet visitors and answer phones in a professional manner
  • Liaison between all three offices acting as point of contact
  • Distribute mail and schedule deliveries
  • Maintain directory, updating as needed
  • Upkeep of office spaces including conference rooms and kitchen
  • Restock inventory and order new materials as needed
  • Calendar management of conference rooms and meetings
  • Manage office operations, technology and building related issues
  • Assist with new hire orientations and facilitate development programs
  • Handle logistical coordinator of various events and lunches
  • Create organizational system for drawings, documents and more

Requirements of the Office Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite
  • Sharepoint, Lists, PowerApps and Bluebeam a plus
  • Comfortable following and implementing processes
  • Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Represent the firm with a positive attitude
