What we are looking for

Kora, the first finance app just for students, is looking for a student intern to be the voice of our brand and build a connection with college students by creating content for our TikTok account.

This is a great opportunity to work with a fast-paced startup in the growing Fintech sector. Through your content, you will help Kora achieve its mission of providing financial literacy content in a way that is current and engaging to college students. The ideal candidate has intermediate experience creating TikToks, including scripting and editing. We're looking for someone that can translate boring financial literacy content and create engaging and entertaining TikToks out of it.

You will gain experience in marketing for a fintech start-up, content creation, and social media management. You'll have the mentorship of seasoned marketing professionals. You'll leave the internship with a portfolio of hits.

Please share samples of your work (high-performing social videos) along with your application. Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both helpful and appealing information about our company and app, as well as building our follower count by connecting to college students with engaging, charismatic content.

Expectations:

• Work 10-15hrs per week for 4 months/length of a semester.
• Develop and implement effective content strategy and weekly plan for TikTok posts (and Instagram reels).
• Produce and post 5-10 TikToks per week.
• Focus on social media promotion, engagement and user acquisition with particular focus on TikToks production related to college student life + college student finances.
• Interact with followers.
• Work with the Kora team to utilize feedback and data to make strategy and content changes.

Qualifications:

• You're a college student already on TikTok.
• Comfortable making and starring in TikToks.
• Savvy about college life, perceptive of online trends, and responsive to the quickly evolving culture of TikTok marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to work reliably, independently as well as collaboratively.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with digital publishing, content development and generating traffic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Drive and dedication to deliver high quality work.
• An interest in promoting responsible financial behaviors is a plus.
