Position Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be a main point of contact to support projects within the Business Solutions Team. The individual will work directly with business and technology teams to support efforts across critical business processes and various solutions.The ideal candidate partners with various stakeholders within the business to define requirements, develops required documentation and communicates status in order to ensure successful execution of the project and that business requirements are met.

Essential Functions:

  • Gathers business and functional requirements for technology related projects and performs analysis
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) documentation such as project plan, business and functional requirements, User Acceptance Testing, etc. and can efficiently run small-mid size projects.
  • Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Force, Training, HR, Legal and other stakeholders to consult on project requirements and propose business solutions.
  • Partners with business clients, technical teams, and vendors to put together project plan, timeline, milestones and understand specific business processes, needs, and opportunities
  • Responsible for delivering precise functional specifications to include process workflows, business rules, interface design specification
  • Identifies Business Technology capabilities and information required to support the business processes and collaborates in the development of appropriate business strategies
  • Creates Project Plans and run Status Meetings with project Stakeholders
  • Works closely with the Business Subject Matter Experts to understand business request or pain point; analyses business needs.
  • Manages all communication with business users; keeps users informed and updated regularly. Adapts project updates/presentations to audience

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in IT project management/business analysis
  • Ability to develop and prepare business specifications, functional specifications, and mapping documents
  • Ability to function effectively in an environment with multiple and fluctuating priorities
  • Experience with formal SDLC methodology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional team
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
  • Experience in Pharma, Lifesciences, or healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Formal Project Management Training or Certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Experience with Digital Solutions (websites, mobile applications, etc..)
  • Experience with Sales and Commercial applications
  • Experience with master data management
  • Experience with BI Systems and other CRM Systems (Veeva)
  • Experience working with stakeholders remotely and in International locations

Travel:

  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 10% of time domestically. International travel may be required
