Job description

The Business Analyst will be involved in various technical and operational initiatives across the organization. This position will work closely with Business Units and IT to define the scope of projects, gather/document requirements, identify system bugs/defects, and document business processes.

* Act as liaison between the business units and IT to translate business objectives into technical requirements by creating detailed business requirements documents, process flow charts, or other required documentation. Coordinate review and approval of requirements with business units.

* Analyze and design business requirements, and propose recommendations for changes to existing systems or procuring new systems to address business needs

* Define and assess objectives and scope of projects involving business systems

* Document, track, and report on enhancements and defects.

Qualifications

* 0-3 years' experience as a Business Analyst or business consultant

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Prior BA experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Banking is preferred.

* Exceptional written and oral communication skills

* Must have experience in or have a solid understanding of business processes

* Experience with Requirement Gathering and Defect Management

* Advanced computer skills, including knowledge in analysis, design and workflow
