Job description

NMI is excited to announce that we are looking for a Bank Channel Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This is a hunter sales role that involves a typical enterprise sales cycle - including discovering sales targets, identifying key contacts, establishing relationships, negotiating contract terms, and closing new business.

Whilst we are ideally looking for this role to be office based in the Chicago area following the pandemic restrictions. We are also considering applicants to work from our Salt Lake City, UT office, and possibly fully remote for the right person.

Requirements

As Business Development Manager you can expect to:

* Acquire new bank channel relationships to expand market coverage and drive profitable revenue growth.
* Create and proactively manage a prospect list while focusing time on highest value prospects to ensure business objectives are met.
* Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to generate and close new revenue through partner recruitment and acquisition.
* Work closely with internal teams - including product, legal, security and support - to gain traction and onboard new relationships.
* Gain knowledge of and influence industry norms through participation in appropriate industry organizations.
* Help the organization understand industry trends, growth opportunities, and new product development opportunities.
* Remain current and knowledgeable on all NMI products, software, and services.
* Maintain accurate and timely records for efficient reporting of sales activities and opportunities via .
* Perform all other related tasks or duties as assigned.

About you:

* A strong desire to build a career in technology sales with a fast growing company.
* Exceptional cold-call prospecting abilities using consultative phone skills, including the ability to relay information in a clear and friendly manner, inspire, overcome objections, and remain resolute throughout.
* Ideally will have experience selling technology solutions to Director and C-Level executives.
* Excellent follow-up skills.
