Responsible for the execution of the talent recruitment process, both internal and external and recommends process improvements. Assists in designing, developing and driving talent recruitment initiatives and programs.
Responsibilities:PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
- Executes the recruitment process, including job postings, phone interviewing, job interviewing and regular communication with candidates and managers, to ensure that candidates move through in a timely manner with a consistent, positive experience.
- Manages posting of job vacancies, using the best performing recruitment channels, related to responsiveness, quality and cost.
- Assesses experience and calculates salary offers for qualified candidates within established Compensation guidelines. Keeps logs and notes up to date for tracking and auditing purposes.
- Develops pool of internal and external talents using multiple sources, including social media communication as approved by Marketing and Human Resources principles.
- Monitors the job market and prepares analyses and summaries of the main job market movements in the market area.
- Reaches the defined targets for hiring of assigned job groups, including quality of candidates, time frames, and costs.
- Reports on the progress of assigned job vacancies, communicates early warnings and provides regular feedback about the performance of the recruitment processes.
- Uses retention and performance data and staff feedback to improve recruitment and selection process.
- Networks aggressively to cultivate important relationships and recruitment channels.
- Promotes the hospital identity as a premier destination for excellence in healthcare delivery, committed to the patients and families, effective teachers.
- Assists in the preparation of annual recruitment planning and budgetary needs.
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Minimum Requirements)

- Ability to develop and implement successful recruitment and selection strategies in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, technology tools to support the recruitment function.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated interviewing and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of staffing processes, and best practices used in the market place.
- Professional demeanor and positive disposition.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
EDUCATION
All post high school education must have been obtained from a recognized College or University. Additional education may be substituted for experience requirements should the substitution not conflict with State or Board certification/license requirements.
- Associates Degree Required
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or closely related field Preferred (equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years Nurse Recruiting experience Preferred
- 3 years Human Resource - Generalist experience Preferred
- Experience in Healthcare - highly preferred
