Job Title: Senior Compliance Analyst
Location: Coralville, IA or Evanston, IL *Mobile/Remote (On-Site/Work from Home Hybrid)*
-Mobile associates must live in an area that does not exceed a 100-mile (150 km) radius of an IDT location. *May require on-site occasional presence for team meetings, etc.
Purpose Statement:
The Senior Compliance Analyst assists the Financial Accounting Manager with all aspects of the Company's Global Compliance program. This position will provide management with results from audits aimed at measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of the Company's controls and processes related to Accounting, Finance and Operations. This position also communicates well with management across all businesses and functions of the organization to continuously assess the Company's risk universe and appetite, deliver audit results, and propose recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve processes.
Essential Functions:
Ensure compliance activities are conducted upholding independence, objectivity, and a high degree of professionalism
Develop a broad knowledge of IDT's businesses and functions, including managing relationships with leaders of key Finance functions, as well as Danaher's Internal Audit team
Communicate regularly on the various compliance processes and results with Management and Internal Audit
Participate as the Company's SOX Champion, overseeing the completion of the annual SOX program. Including, providing training to associates assisting with the SOX testing, communicating results, and tracking necessary remediation plans
Coordinate, plan and oversee the Company's annual internal audit, providing updates to management and tracking remediation plans throughout the year
Plan and coordinate annual global Balance Sheet Review requirement for each of the Company's entities.
Complete audit testing of various controls throughout the year such as, sample testing, associate expense reimbursements, AP disbursements and Vendor and Customer Master updates. In addition, analyze all journal entries against certain keywords, management estimates, and adherence to authority levels on a regular basis
Maintain the Company's Accounting Policy and Procedure Manuals, updating it annually, comparing it to Danaher's updates, Internal Audit remediations, and changes in the business.
Coordinate annual impairment testing which includes, intangible assets, fixed assets, and other long-term assets
Demonstrates and upholds behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and other business associates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required
CPA, CIA, or MBA certification(s) preferred
Professional Experience:
Minimum of four years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance/accounting, and/or internal audit required
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance preferred

Exceptional technical report writing skills and advanced grammar proficiency

Strong analytical and organizational skills, presentation, and communication skills; ability to notice and attend to even minor details, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and execute sound decision making
Demonstrated strong personal drive, initiative, and persistence
Self-starter with the flexibility to work independently or in a group environment, utilizing a hands-on approach and indirect influence skills to drive results

Travel Requirements
Occasional travel (up to 20%) is expected.
