Job description

We are looking for an HR Specialist with outstanding administrative and communication skills who can make our company a premier employment destination for the top talent in our industry. The HR Specialist will be responsible for evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies, and making sure that all employee-related policies align with our corporate goals and established regulations. To ensure success, HR Specialist should display remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the new hire orientation process properly introduces new employees to the corporate culture, processes, and policies.
  • Manage the compensation policy and process and the budgeting related to the HR, Compensation and Benefits
  • Deploy Human Resources Prime Objectives, policies, processes, rules/regulations, and liaise with the leadership and Office Managers to ensure all office follow standards policies and process.
  • Enhance the human resources of ASTRA BH by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Manage end to end recruitment process and develop strategies to reduce employee turnover rate and attracting top talent to fill open positions.
  • Develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member.
  • Maintain the work and organizational structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and evaluations of employees work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
  • Hear and resolve employee grievances with the Leadership Team and counseling employees.
  • Implement employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
  • Develop and recommend benefit programs to the leadership; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract options; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance by coordinating with Compliance Director, monitoring, and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
  • Come up with new ways to measure employee morale and determine methods for improving overall employee satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in a human resources supervisory position
  • Bachelor' Degree in Human Resources or related business field
  • Demonstrated ability to improve employee morale.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of HRIS software preferred.
