The Database Analyst role is located in Georgetown, KY for an international automotive manufacturer (OEM) - reporting to the Engineering Department.

Interviews are remote! Non-local candidates for the Database Analyst role are encouraged to apply if willing to relocate/commute at own cost.

Database Analyst Description of Duties:

The primary responsibility of this role is to generate & facilitate outputs of the Body Logistics Team for New Model Project Introduction at all North American Manufacturing Facilities, as well as to establish best practices and process standards for evaluation of logistics in new model layout development.

• Develop the infrastructure for accessing regional data for e.g. PowerBI.
• Set up the system for the team, on how to store and access data in the internal platforms (for e.g. MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
• Gather appropriate data and update into the infrastructure.
• Maintenance and Management of regional logistics data through PowerBI. This requires building relationships at the Company and confirming information periodically through go-and-see.
• Modernizing / updating team SharePoint Site and group data organization.
• Maintain/update manuals and template section of SharePoint site.

Database Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's (or higher) Degree in Engineering, Business, supply chain, transportation, logistics management or Work Equivalent
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems and investigate related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Logistics / Conveyance/PC experience in manufacturing environment or course work
• Experience with PowerBI considered an asset
• 1+ years of experience in similar role would be appropriate
• Project Management experience would be considered an asset
