POSITION SUMMARY
Utilize query and reporting tools to extract data from multiple systems to support the analytical needs of the Finance and Customer Service teams. This position will require an advanced understanding of querying databases using SQL and building metrics through Excel and Power Bi.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop reports and dashboards to support requirements from the Finance and Customer Service teams using SQL queries and Power Bi. This includes building key metrics such as forecast analysis and daily sales.
  • Support the creation of annual budgets through data queries.
  • Develop and execute adhoc queries as required.
  • Support the teams in identifying and understanding the key drivers behind data trends.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within existing reports.
  • Support project requests for data.
  • Ensure critical data extracts are valid and accurate.
  • Participate on project teams as required.
  • Work with business areas to draw initial observations from data (Business area will continue in depth analysis and draw final conclusions).
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information, investment decisions, and any other tasks assigned by the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Bachelor's Degree- Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Business Analyst specific training/experience preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • SQL knowledge/Oracle table structure
  • Experience with ERP systems and databases (Oracle preferred)
  • Working Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Bi experience
  • Ability to build SQL queries
  • Strong organizational interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and initiative to seek improvements
  • 10% Travel required
