Job description

Be the right hand of the Finance VP and lead the closing and reporting processes.

Manage the accounting team to get the day-to-day operations of the GL, balance sheet, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, cash management, and payroll.


  1. Establish and maintain effective accounting standards, policies, and processes to ensure that required recording, analysis, and reporting of financial information is clear, consistent, and available at all levels of the Company on a timely and accurate basis.
  2. Develop effective internal controls, procedures, and policies, and document and test key processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation in support of accounting positions and conclusions.
  3. Ensure financial statements are in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  4. Lead the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
  5. Create KPI's and dashboards to monitor progress and changes of the P&L to keep the leadership team of the organization's financial status.
  6. Create and maintain cash flow models.
  7. Update and implement all necessary business policies, accounting practices, and financial controls.
  8. Manage cash flow and forecasting.
  9. Maintain banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
  10. Develop and prepare reporting packages to facilitate review of the financial statements with key constituents, including the management team and Board of Directors. Provide updates regarding significant changes to accounting principles and policies.
  11. Provide transaction support - including due diligence, analysis, and integration - for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  12. Lead the relationship and interactions with external auditors.
  13. Coordinate all tax filings and related compliance with third-party providers.
  14. Manage onshore and offshore direct reports and develop the corporate accounting team. Attract, develop, and retain competent and committed staff. Establish clear performance objectives and provide career guidance for each direct report. Motivate and reinforce teamwork. Mentor staff and provide technical leadership.
  15. Lead major projects and perform ad hoc analyses as directed by the CFO and the leadership team.


The following criteria will be taken into consideration when selecting the right candidate:

  • Accounting leadership experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and US regulatory accounting and reporting requirements - you will be the go-to person for this type of questions/requests.
  • Strong appreciation for process/procedure, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of ERP systems, advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Office 365 apps.
