HR GENERALIST

Key Job Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist will provide day-to-day HR Operations support to the employees. This position will operate under some level of autonomy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, so we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is passionate about serving as the expert in their domain. This position requires candidates to be collaborative, flexible, and ready/willing to "dive in" to get the job done.

Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of separations in the HRIS (Paylocity). Collaborates across HR, Benefits, Payroll and HRIS technical support to ensure data accuracy and reporting activities. Proactively develops standard and ad-hoc reports for customers in HR, Leadership, and other functions. Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous process improvement; create efficiencies through understanding system capabilities and streamlining processes. Assist with audit responsibilities as required related to HR data integrity. Invoice reconciliation, communications, annual open enrollment, vendor management.

Managing orientation, work authorizations, processing HR mail, employment verifications, and exit interviews. Handles day-to-day ad hoc inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Ensures and maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, making recommendations for policy and/or practice changes as necessary to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best-practices, regulatory changes. Undertake tasks around performance management. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates. Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form. Participate in special projects as required. Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business related field desired.
5 years of progressive HR operations and/or generalist experience.
Experience in a fast-paced environment is strongly desired.
PHR/SHRM Certification preferred.
Experience with an HRIS system (Paylocity experience is desired).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict management skills with complete confidentiality.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office

Aptitude in problem-solving

Additional HR training will be a plus
