Human Resources Assistant
Position Description
Category: Full Time/ 40 hours
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Essential Functions
- Performing administrative functions such as maintaining employee database and sorting Human Resources department emails.
- Assists with administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Reconciles benefit statements.
- Assist with planning company events.
- Assist with tracking IT ticket statuses.
- Assist with administration of employee shoppers program.
- Employee training platform audits and distribution of quarterly reports.
- Performing customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Assists with preparation of the performance review process.
- Assist with off-boarding team members.
- Assist with the recruitment and interview process. To include job postings, interview scheduling, and monthly social media recruitment post.
- Assist with employee onboarding process. To include company equipment assignment, and new hire scheduling.
- Schedule meetings and trainings as requested by Director of Human Resources.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll reporting and employee entries.
- Assist or prepares employee correspondence.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Must be able to ascend or descend multiple flights of stairs.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
