Ciber / HTC Global is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with (EVV) Electronic Visit Verification experience to join our team! As the Business Analyst, you will provide information employed in strategic planning and initiative tracking through the development of analytical tools and methods that track and log Electronic Visit Verification transactions and detect healthcare waste, abuse and fraud.
The Business Analyst will write reports summarizing evidence, activities and findings with a primary focus area, including but not limited to clinical, operational, health plan, or financial operations.
Essential Duties:
- Adheres to client's policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- Provides effective leadership and fosters an environment that leads to collaboration, coordination, and integration between departments.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and inform internal stakeholders of all changes in EVV policies, developments and implementations.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining regulatory and contractual compliance with all policies related to EVV.
- Ensures the integrity of data, including data extraction, processing, storage, manipulation, analysis and distribution.
- Provides programming and querying expertise through the use of (but not limited to) SQL, Excel Macros, Qlik, and Crystal Reports in the development of reports and routines for the use of data to meet organizational objectives.
- Ability to take export data from disparate systems that do not interface, transform into usable formats and load into a usable data warehouse of their own creation.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including departmental dashboards.
- Ability to capture all the necessary data elements into workflows and processes to facilitate accurate data validation, reconciliation and potential recoupment.
- Ability to use statistical reporting tools, stratify findings and identify trends.
- Create simple reports and graphics that convey findings in a manner that is understood by non-technical users without a working knowledge of the data.
- Maintains current knowledge of new developments, changing analytic methodologies, and waste, abuse and fraud schemes through reading professional literature and attending meetings, seminars and workshops.
- Maintain full knowledge of all data exchanges and requirements thereof between EVV vendors and client . Represent client in meetings and calls with vendors and other stakeholders.
Education and/or Experience:
- Degree in related field such as Finance, Statistics, Data Mining, Clinical Analytics or Health Care Administration with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
