Fund Connect is one of State Street's market-leading electronic trading solutions that assist Institutional Investors with their short-term investment portfolio and reporting requirements through a single gateway to a global pool of Money Market products. Fund Connect is part of the suite of products offered by GlobalLink.
The Fund Connect Product team is seeking a Business Analyst with project management experience. The individual will primarily be responsible for working with the Money Market Fund Product Management team to develop and document detailed functional requirements and streamline the process workflow. This position provides project support throughout the product lifecycle with an emphasis on the analysis stage for the Fund Connect platform. The Business Analyst is also involved with release and post-release activities.
The successful candidate must have strong written, verbal and analytical skills and the ability to work independently. The candidate will provide project management and ongoing subject matter expertise throughout the product development cycle, including post-production support. The candidate will also be expected to provide support to the Sales and Operations teams for inquiries related to the Fund Connect platform.

What you will be responsible for
As Business Analyst / Product Management, Officer you will
- Work with the business to interpret high-level business requirements and analyze and define functional requirements, including workflow, diagrams interface definition and screen mockups.
- Administration of system documentation including: product development schedules, release schedules, bug tracking, etc.
- Maintenance of system protocols including internal and external release notes as well as internal training and process materials.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with many different team members across the business and technology areas, working directly with junior and senior counterparts.
- Provide production support for both internal and external clients
- Work closely with client service team to resolve issues impacting clients.
- Create release materials, maintain user documentation, and assist in new product release activities.
- Serve as primary subject matter expert across the organization and assist users with ad hoc report construction queries, researching issues on existing data and reports, and general questions concerning the platform.
- Support user training, documentation, and rollout.
- Support ad hoc product testing and client demonstrations.
- Maintain effective working relationships with organizational team and clients.
What we value

- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- 3+ years of business analysis experience.
- Excellent prioritization and resource management skills.
- Advanced skills with MS Office suite (including Excel, Powerpoint, Visio).
- Strong analytical, communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Financial services industry experience a plus (up to 5 years). Money Market Funds specifically a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with electronic trade or financial messaging (e.g. SWIFT) a plus but not required.
- Trading System Workflow and User Interface (e.g. screen) design experience a plus.
- Highly detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to multi-task and balance workload.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's (BA/BS or University degree) degree required.
