About the job:
The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an early talent-focused Early Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in Boston, MA. In this role you will support our Engineering-based early talent roles which will include internships, co-ops, and new graduate programs. As part of our Early Talent team, you will represent Red Hat to the external talent market, developing relationships with top talent and building talent pipelines, while marketing the Red Hat employment brand in a competitive early talent market. This position is a contractor role which will begin as remote and report into the Boston, MA office.
What you will do:- Identify potential future Red Hatters using a variety of sourcing tools, including social media and internet searches in addition to currently established university relationships
- Market and sell Red Hat's message in a compelling way to top talent
- Manage candidate pipeline using our applicant tracking system (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Screen and assess potential candidates on their skills, culture fit and add, and abilities via phone and video
- Cultivate diverse candidate pools for open internship positions across organizations; partnering with talent scouts when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements
- Present top talent to hiring managers to fill internship positions across the organization
- Manage a high volume of candidates while working to properly align them with the right roles
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process with ongoing communication and responsiveness
- 3+ years of early talent recruiting experience, preferably focused in the technology sector
- ATS experience with tracking and managing candidates; iCIMS experience is a plus
- Experience with professional social media tools like LinkedIn and Handshake
- Familiarity with Boston area Universities
- Excellent change management skills; ability to accept change with a positive attitude
- Solid candidate and customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-based, dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
