Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Location: 100% Remote , Framingham, MA
Duration: 6 months
Description:
We have an opportunity for a Remote Temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator in (CDT, MDT, or PDT time zone) to play a key role in our retail transformation as we look to attract the best and brightest talent. We are transforming our business, centered around our customer and helping them build connections and a stronger community. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator Temp you will help in nurturing talent for store hourly positions.
As candidates reply to our sponsored job ads you will reach out to all candidates to learn about their career/job interests (above and beyond what they applied for) to see if they could also have interest in other store roles. You will then walk them through the application process and follow-up with them as you track if they are applying to the store role.
Nurture store hourly candidates to become applicants.
Review candidate profiles daily
Contact all candidates ASAP via phone and/or e-mail for live conversations
Speak with candidates and educate them on different store level roles, gauging their openness to the different roles and perform light screening
Walk candidates through the application process, provide the correct links and follow-up with all applicants
Track and follow-up with candidates that have applied and those that need additional info. to still apply
Post new hourly store roles (potentially).
Be trained on how to post jobs via Indeed Easy Apply
Confirm store budget before posting the role
Partner with the Recruitment Marketing Manager, HRBP's and others for the correct information and direction
Source new hourly store candidates for identified roles and stores (training provided).
Depending on candidate flow from job ads, spend time reviewing profiles on Indeed and sending recruitment messages to candidates
Speak with prospective candidates and educate on store roles while conducting some screening
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills, including some experience in a customer service or sales related role
Ability to engage with people and market/sell to them (strong interpersonal skills)
Strong attention to detail, follow-up and ability to move at a fast pace
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Ability to spend up to two days in a Store learning about the environment and different roles within the store
Retail experience is a plus, but not required
Additional Information
Remote work, representation of midwest and west coast needed
Flexible for some weekend hours (does not have to be 5 days M-F), and off or split hours (does not have to be 9a-5p); but some core training hours will be during the M-F business hours
Willing to train but the person needs to have desire and strong ability to speak with people all day as they make active phone calls daily
Two of the temps will have a stronger focus on placing the ads on Indeed as they come in versus the other temps being more focused on the candidate follow-up
Temp must be able to spend up to two days in a store during their first week in order to learn about Staples and the different roles in the store
These roles are focused on "selling the different roles in the stores to educate candidates and open up interest in the different opportunities and the candidates "wanting to interview with us
