Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Addington Place of Grand Rapids is hiring an Admissions Coordinator. The duties would be marketing and managing admissions in our senior living facility. We are located on 68th off Kalamazoo.

Addington Place of Grand Rapids has just broken ground on a 6-million-dollar renovation and addition, and we are looking to hire an admissions manager to grow the occupancy of valued residents in our community. The marketing manager is responsible for utilizing electronic customer relationship management system to manage the sales process, managing lead flow at the community, facilitating community tours and facilitating the move-in process.

Minimum eligibility requirements

Must have experience in a retirement, nursing home, and/or assisted living industry.

Must have proven direct sales experience with demonstrated results. Must possess knowledge of the Rules and Regulations for the community and applicable move-in and move-out regulations.

Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, hospitals and general public.

Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.

Possess excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while establishing appropriate priorities.

Must have knowledge of required standard practices that promote positive community relations and ensure good occupancy.

Must have the ability to efficiently utilize customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Essential functions

Organize and facilitate all move-in activities while working collaboratively with the Resident Care Manager to coordinate smooth and timely resident move-ins.

These duties include, but are not limited to, the tracking of inquiries, conducting initial tour of homes, arranging for move-ins, scheduling assessments within 24 hours or less when indicated, and working with the Resident Care Manager to coordinate move in activities, etc.

Review inquiries and referrals

Follow up with referral sources

Keep detailed records of all contacts in CRM

Plan and coordinate public affairs and communication efforts to include, but not limited to, public relations, health fairs, and community outreach

Plan and develop company marketing and communication materials

Anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategies accordingly

Maintain intimate demographic knowledge of the market area

Self-motivated

Strong knowledge of social media

Plan and facilitate community events for prospective residents, families and referral sources

Prepare and submit for approval a monthly marketing plan with measurable goals and budget requirements

Take initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority

Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction. Share the results with the Executive Director and staff. Work as a part of the team to develop appropriate action plans to continually improve satisfaction levels
