Inventory Specialist needed, 2nd and 3rd shift

Temp to Hire role. Great benefits provided upon being hired on!

JOB SUMMARY:

This position serves as on-site labor in the logistics area of the storeroom, including receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, client interface, customer service and computer transaction entry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide professional level of customer service to all internal and external customers

• Unpack purchased material, verify product against packing slip

• Perform cycle counts and report stock balance discrepancies to Manager and Buyer for resolution

• Clean and organize the storeroom on a regular basis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel; ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in new software systems

• Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in part identification

• Excellent customer service skills

• Organization and detail-orientation skills

• Frequent walking, standing, carrying and lifting to 40 lbs. unassisted

• Flexibility to take on shift changes as required by position and ability to work overtime as needed

• Approximately 4 days of weekend coverage per month
