ROLE SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Technician I position reports to the Demand/Supply Coordinator & Supply Specialists TL in Supply Chain Operations (SCO).

Initiate, review and maintain orders and documentation for one production area (DP or API) for use in warehousing and distribution. Maintain and monitor inventory management systems to ensure data accuracy and customer service. Initiate, review, and correct special packaging orders and other MRP orders. Initiate, review and correct customer orders and track progress towards the required customer due dates. Use inventory and materials management practices and policies to ensure customer requirements as well as production schedule deadlines are met and data accuracy is maintained. Work closely with Operations, Quality, Warehouse and other internal and external Customers to problem solve, resolve issues and ensure that customer service and inventory goals are met. Ability to participate on teams or in special projects. Review Standard Operating Procedures as required. Detail oriented and complies with all regulatory guidelines and GMP's.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years w/HS Diploma or GED

Language Skills: Effective Written and Oral Communication Skills

Computer Skills: Microsoft Applications, SAP, etc.
