Job description

We have an immediate need for a Client Support Specialist who will support the Wealth Management and Operations teams in activities related to client service and relationship management. The Client Support Specialist will play an important role in assisting our high-net-worth clients directly, including responding to client needs and questions, client service meeting preparation and related follow-up. This position will be in-person at our Southfield, MI office.

How you'll make an impact

  • Assist Wealth Management team with presentation materials and collaborating with marketing on collateral materials
  • At the direction of Senior Advisors and Wealth Managers, prepare individualized materials for client meetings
  • Support operational procedures and compliance requirements including preparation and processing of new account paperwork and various account forms and documents
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up/communicate with clients as directed
  • Prepare, audit, and process client account applications, insurance applications, asset transaction requests, and other misc. requests for the Wealth Management team
  • Technology support and maintenance of Tamarac Reporting and CRM systems for the Wealth Management team
  • Research, propose and attend continuing education and training opportunities to broaden relations, network, and deepen knowledge of trends, practices, products, and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - major in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field
  • One to three years of work experience in wealth management planning, investment banking, asset management, or sales
  • Must be able to obtain the SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses within 3-months of employment
  • Reside within a one-hour commute from our Southfield, MI office (this position is not remote)
