Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related degree.
* 0 - 1 year experience in application administration or support with a manufacturing company.
* Professional certification in database administration a plus.
* Strong familiarity with use and/or administration of Windows-based operating systems.
* Epicor or other ERP experience beneficial.

Qualifications:

* Experience with SQL or relational databases preferred.
* Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is critical.
* Excellent organization, documentation, and prioritization skills.
* Adaptability to work across multiple departments.
* Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision.
* Flexibility on work hours to assist with system troubleshooting.
* Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining confidential information.
* Experience with SSIS/SSMS/SSRS, Crystal Reports, Power BI, or equivalent reporting service a plus.
* Experience with Visual Basic .NET or Visual C#.NET, REST/web method programming a plus.

Travel - Business travel as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Standard business operation hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. These hours do not apply to all positions. Role Summary - Business Systems Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, provide application training, facilitate communication with users, and collaborate with Senior Developer to deploy business systems solutions. The focus will be on designing and executing processes and reports for creating efficiencies across all MOCON Business Systems including but not limited to our ERP, CRM, and BI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gather and analyze business requirements and business process flows necessary in designing and preparing new or modified systems/solutions.
* Aid in the definition of functional requirements, functional design development, and implementation of future system enhancements, custom modules, and/or custom reporting to support business initiatives.
* Administrate Epicor 10 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Salesforce (CRM), and related applications.
* Manage test activities throughout all test phases, including integration, system, User Accepted Testing (UAT) regression and certification.
* Monitor report requests, develop reports and queries, and provide end-user support.
* Support the creation and/or updates to system documentation in accordance with regulatory, financial, legal and/or departmental requirements.
* Build and perform simple data loads.
* Troubleshoot computing system problems and recommends actions.
* Work cross-functionally among teams to assess business requirements or address system issues.
* Other duties as assigned by leadership.
