Description

PLANT HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

The Human Resources Generalist is a hands-on role that provides human resources support to our manufacturing facility. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Strong experience in sourcing, selection and onboarding required. The right balance of HR knowledge with a collaborative and supportive style is critical. Working within the WinCup Values is required. Reports to Human Resources Manager.

Skills:

  • Ensure data integrity in our system (PayCom).
  • Daily maintenance of HRIS systems: entering new employees, issuing time cards, and updating employee information, Benefits Enrollments, etc.
  • Completing and distributing daily and weekly audit reports. Compiling all new-hire data and entering into payroll/HRIS - PayCom.
  • Provide frequent team member service regarding payroll, benefits, team member relationship, team member engagement, etc.
  • Will be required to flex working hours to accomodate 24 x 7 manufacturing operation and needs.

Administrative:
  • Assist internal team members with benefits and orientation.
  • Assist Recruiting efforts through our ATS and AAP administration and tracking, ad placement, screening resume, scheduling phone interviews, prepare offer letters, coordinate and ensure drug and background check process followed, checking references, etc.
  • Administration of team member badging process for building access and timekeeping.
  • Calculate and distribute turnover metrics for salaried and hourly team members.
  • Complete employment and payroll verifications.
  • Maintain personnel lists, filing and systems for record-keeping of employee data and benefits information; Ensures that human resources files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
  • Completes a variety of tasks including, but not limited to monthly benefit reconciliation, 401(k) eligibility tracking and meeting scheduling, labor poster management, employee information updates (internal and external) and invoice processing;
  • Manages all team member welfare related activities including, but not limited to creating materials, coordinating recognition activities, and planning events,
  • Manages the Team Member Wellness Program in coordination with the HR Manager.
  • Maintain needed HR spreadsheets related to workers compensation, LOA, turnover, expenses, etc.
  • Assists with administration of the performance management process and is specifically responsible for tracking and coordinating the Annual Performance Evaluation and Merit processes.
  • Updates the HR internal process and procedures document as needed.
  • Protects company assets through the proper management of asset files and adherence to company policy with regard to information security and management.
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

  • Planning and Organizing: Demonstrated ability to plan and organize your own work activities; analyze and disseminate numerical data; manage work time efficiently; follow procedures and policies; perform basic mathematical calculations; identify and solve problems; maintain a file system to include alphabetical, numerical, and chronological filing activities.
  • Communication: Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, business writing, grammar and verbal communication skills. Required ability to maintain professional demeanor and confidentiality in this role.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, detail oriented, a team player and be highly deadline driven.


Qualifications

Experience:
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional relationship with others
  • 3+ years of HR Administration support
  • 3+ years HR Generalist experience (in industrial or manufacturing preferred)
  • Previous experience navigating, entering data, creating reports in an HRIS / Payroll system (PayCom preferred)
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Organized, multi-task oriented with high energy is required
  • Must possess advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
