As Maintenance Planner you will:
Be responsible for identifying the elements of an executable work package that should contain the work plan, the necessary materials, tools, safety requirements, permits, and labor requirements.
Update and adjust existing job plan and equipment data.
Be responsible for the ongoing training of site personnel in the process to ensure consistency in process execution and use of the system to capture business required data.
Expectations:
Maintain accurate equipment files and related job plans. Organize effective job plans and keep them accurate and updated. Walk down jobs and ensure that all safety and work process considerations are factored into the job. Incorporate safety into all work plans and help ensure that work is performed safely and effectively and help ensure that the work management process is managed efficiently. Ensure that the work management portions of the CMMS are updated and accurate.
Business Management (25%)
Daily review with Maintenance and Operations Management to prioritize work orders to be planned in EAM.
Communicate to Stakeholders.
Plan Resources.
Manufacturing Process Reliability (10%)
Maintain Process and Industry Standards and Specifications
Safety, Health and Environment
Champion criticality ranking reviews for designated area(s)
CMMS/EAM (10%)
Maintain EAM hierarchy.
Enforce EAM workflow.
Provide monthly maintenance performance measure reports from EAM.
Update EAM PM system adding or deleting equipment as needed.
Update EAM PM histories and cost
Through the use of regular reports, keep the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors informed of work progress and future work schedules.
Update the CMMS system for all equipment within the planner's area of cognizance. This includes machinery data, machinery history, and spare parts lists.
Transition capital improvement projects from engineering department to the operations and production departments. Included is the updating of information in the CMMS database to reflect the improvement, addition, or deletion of equipment and their associated spare parts and maintenance procedures.
Work Management (25%)
Create Job Plans for all proactive work (PM, and follow-ups) and capture all associated material, tools, services, and labor costs.
Review all new work order requests daily for planning.
Investigate scope of work orders, communicate with Maintenance Management to determine work order priority, acquire work order materials, tools, and supplies.
Weekly review of work order backlog with Maintenance Management to prioritize work orders to be planned.
Review completed work orders for job plan feedback and update job plans accordingly.
Review completed work orders for follow-on work and write orders accordingly.
Create Job Plans for all proactive work (PM, and follow-ups) capture all associated material, tools, services, and labor costs.
Determine if Engineering Change is required and ensure the MOC Process is part of the work package if necessary.
Determine if job is ready to schedule, all parts are kitted and on site.
Change work order status appropriately based on work management process.
Attend and participate in daily scheduling meeting
Interface with maintenance management personnel and craftsperson's on a regular basis to ensure the smooth flow of maintenance tasks and as a prelude to the planning and scheduling of future maintenance tasks.
Maintain the CMMS system for all equipment in the planner's area of cognizance.
Plan all proactive maintenance with special attention paid to all regulatory requirements that may apply. This includes, but is not limited to, OSHA rules, EPA regulations, and state and local environmental regulations.
Develop and maintain planned and predictive maintenance procedures and routes as required.
Train maintenance personnel in proper maintenance procedures and proper reporting procedures for out-of-specification findings, and in the use of CMMS software as a maintenance management tool.
Review all completed work orders for completeness and accuracy, updating machinery history data in the CMMS system as required.
PM Program (15%)
Ensure PM's are qualified and reviewed, at a minimum, annually.
Maintain current Infor EAM, PM file, and electronic equipment file documentation.
Develop PM schedules for equipment.
Develop PM routes for equipment.
Develop PM task lists / job plans.
Recommend changes and improvements to the PM program.
Ensure that PM work is being completed with histories.
MRO Warehouse (15%)
Work with purchasing and warehouse employees to optimize warehouse item minimum and reorder quantities and add or delete warehouse items as necessary, both stock and non-stock.
Interface with storeroom personnel and vendors to ensure the availability of spare parts related to planned equipment maintenance.
Coordinate with Purchasing to order and reserve materials.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Diploma or GED equivalent.
5 years of Maintenance level Mechanical skills with plant equipment experience required.
Must be able to fully understand both written and verbal information and make numerical calculations to communicate, evaluate, and solve maintenance problems related to his/her skills.
Must demonstrate good mechanical aptitude skills.
Computer skills to access pertinent job information. Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be self-motivated and self-starter with excellent work ethic and strong interpersonal skills.
Must also demonstrate excellent verbal/written communication, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
